Denim is a year round wardrobe staple. And let’s be honest, we all already know that. Jeans look great with all of our Winter season favorites. Whether it is ankle boots, leather jackets or a funnel neck sweater, you can depend on jeans to help create a Winter outfit. With all the different jean washes and cuts available, you’ll never run out of options. I wrote a whole post (here) about some of my favorite denim styles. In this post, I’m sharing 10 Winter outfits with jeans.
13 Winter Outfits with Jeans
You can wear jeans with about anything. For some outfits inspiration, I’ve put together 13 winter outfits with jeans. For most of these outfits you should be able to use what’s in your closet! I want to give you some inspiration for when you don’t know what to wear.
Jeans with a Blazer & T-Shirt
A classic combination for a reason. Style your favorite blazer with skinny jeans and a t-shirt! It’s easy to put this together with items already in your closet. See more on this outfit formula here. I love dressing this look up with gold jewelry too.
Jeans with a Fitted Sweater and Knee High Boots
Probably my most worn combination in the winter. This look is polished and can be created a 1000 different ways. This is my absolute favorite sweater! It is soft, luxurious and so flattering. I wore the blue one so much that this year I bought another one this year.

Jeans with a Leather Jacket and Ankle Boots
An edgy look for evening. Great for drinks or an evening out when you need something more casual. If your ankle boots are leather as well keep them in the same color family as the jacket. Brown or camel leather jacket with brown or camel boots and black or grey leather jacket with black or grey booties.

Jeans with a Camel Coat
There is nothing chicer than a well fitting coat. They instantly make your outfit look polished and put together, no matter what you are wearing under it! I especially love the color contrast between camel and dark denim.
Jeans with a Shacket
What I love about a shacket in the winter is that it can be your top layer or you can add a heavy coat on top if its really cold! See more ideas here.
Black Denim with all Black
Nothing chicer than an all black outfit. It is timeless and always fashion forward. All black is great for traveling too because it works for so many situations.

Jeans with a Flannel
Flannel button downs are a Fall and Winter staple. Add your favorite jeans and boots for an instant outfits. Skinny or straight leg jeans work well to balance the button down.
Jeans with a Hoodie and Tennis Shoes
Casual look for running errands and getting things done on the weekend. I like to add some style to this outfit by wearing my Senreve belt bag with it.

Jeans with a Faux Fur Coat
In playing with proportions I love high waisted denim with a cropped jacket. Faux fur elevates the look for a date night look. Keep your top simple and let the faux fur shine!

Jeans and a Jean Jacket
Denim on denim can work if you keep the washes different. Use the top to break up the denim on denim look too.

Jeans with a Sweater Vest
My favorite trend this season is a sweater vest. It was one of my common winter outfits I’ve worn I love the nod to preppiness that it adds to an outfit. I did a whole post on all the ways to wear them (see here) but the easiest way is with jeans.
Jeans with a Long Cardigan
I love the coziness a long cardigan brings to an outfit. Oversized ones are so comfortable and can make a statement. Like most outfit tips I give, balance the oversized with fitted pieces like skinny jeans and a fitted top. A long sleek cardigan can look professional enough to wear in a business casual setting.

Jeans with an Oversized Blazer
Oversized or boyfriend blazers have been a trend long enough that I believe they are now a classic wardrobe item. I love ones in dark wintery prints.
