The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. To me, it truly encompasses the Summer feeling. It is a celebration, with food, fun, family and fireworks! What could be better? I usually spend the 4th with my extended family because it is both my aunt’s and my grandma’s birthday. We always have a great time celebrating and spending time together. While I love that everyone is in red, white and blue I love to create a stylish outfit that doesn’t look like the American flag. Stylish and comfortable outfits can be put together that still have the patriotic spirit. In this post, I am sharing some stylish 4th of July outfits no matter what you do to celebrate.
Stylish 4th of July Outfits
Oversized Button Down
This outfit will probably be what I wear for my 4th of July celebrations. I love how simple and stylish an oversized button down can be. To give it a bit of edge, style it with some distressed denim shorts. The last little mix of styles are these heeled sandals. Accessories can elevate any outfit and make you ready for the 4th of July. It is hard to resist a cute blue texture headband like this one. A red lip is classic and will complete the look.
Overalls Outfit
Denim overalls really just say summer style and 4th of July outfit to me. While you can put them with a t-shirt, I like this white crop t-shirt as a way of elevating the look a bit. Then add in your American flag colors with a bandana and comfortable sandals. Overalls can be another casual look for a pool day or other outdoor parties.
Tank Dress
This tank dress is one of those pieces that are great for summer outfits. It can be a little dressy or casual depending on how you style it. For the 4th of July, I would add a statement earring and then wicker wedges and you are ready. The dress is soft and comfortable enough to wear to an outdoor party but still elevated enough if your 4th of July event is a little nicer. Swipe on a red lipstick or lipgloss to take the look up a bit.
Bodysuit Outfit
Many of these outfits consist of elevated neutrals and this one is no different. A ribbed body suit tucked into these linen shorts is a great Summer outfit all season long. To make it a 4th of July outfit, add a pop of red with the shoes and then a little bit of blue with a detailed earring. I love this outfit for drinks on a patio or an evening get together. It feels sophisticated while still being festive.
Red Pants Outfit
If it isn’t too hot where you celebrate, these pants are just asking to be worn on the 4th of July. While they do make a statement, they are also flattering and comfortable. A white peplum tank is all you need to style with them. Since the pants are nicer, I like to dress them down with a flatform sandal to balance the look.
Sundress Outfit
What could be a better option for a 4th of July outfit idea than a beautiful sundress? This blue one is a great option if you want to be a bit more dressed up but still need to be cool. It can work for both indoor or outdoor 4th of July celebrations. I love a how effortless a cognac sandal looks with a sundress.
Basic White T-Shirt Outfit
We all have a white t-shirt and denim shorts. Start with this Summer staple outfit and turn it into a 4th of July outfit with just a few accessories. A bandana is a great accessory that can be worn around your neck or as a headband. Add a blue one to this outfit and then finish off with some red sandals and sparkly huggies. This outfit is great for any casual 4th of July plans.
T-Shirt Dress
T-shirt dresses are my favorite! This white one has a tie detail that makes the dress more flattering. To keep up with the preppy vibes of the dress and make a 4th of July outfit, pair with this red bow headband and leather tennis shoes. You could even add some blue jewelry too! For something a little unexpected, I love this leather belt bag. Plus your hands will be free all day! I like this 4th of July outfit as an alternative to denim shorts and a t-shirt. Plus you could wear this outfit all Summer long.
Tiered Dress
This dress comes in so many colors and is one of my Summer outfit must haves. It is comfortable but also flattering and beautiful. Since the red color makes a statement itself, the rest of the outfit can consist of neutral pieces.
