A denim jumpsuit has been a major fashion piece since the 70s! There are updates and changes to it as styles and trends change but the basic denim jumpsuit is always in style. This denim piece can definitely make a statement but will be a wardrobe piece you’ll have in your closet forever. I have searched for a denim jumpsuit for a few years but never found the perfect fit. Once I found the Good American Denim Jumpsuit I had found the perfect denim jumpsuit. In today’s jumpsuit I am sharing my complete review of the Good American Denim Jumpsuit.
Good American Denim Jumpsuit Review
There are not many pieces of clothing that I own that deserve their own blog post dedicated to it. And honestly I didn’t expect a denim jumpsuit to be one of the pieces. Now it is an item that I can’t imagine not having in my wardrobe.
Good American Denim Jumpsuit Fit
The fit of the Good American jumpsuit is what makes it so special. The denim jumpsuit I have is the Fit for Success jumpsuit. The denim in this jumpsuit is pretty structured but is still very comfortable. The thickness allows it to both fit well over your body but still shapes you. This is so flattering on your body. The denim also has 5% elastene in it. This gives the denim a fair amount of stretch so it really fits to your body.
The body of the jumpsuit is fitted from the shoulders to the top of the thighs. It zips all the way up which allows you to wear as open or closed as you want. The sleeves are a basic short sleeve that has a little bit of room and isn’t meant to be completely fitted. The legs are straight cut and have a great fit.
Styling the Good American Denim Jumpsuit
While it may not seem so at first glance, the Good American Denim Fit for Success Jumpsuit is very versatile. It can also be worn during any season. For a casual look, style this jumpsuit with flats or tennis shoes. Then add a casual crossbody. It would be great for brunch, running errands or any other activities. During the cooler months a long sleeve shirt can be added under it too!
My favorite way to style this denim jumpsuit is for a night out. The zipper of the jumpsuit adds to the versatility. The fitted top is so flattering and you can wear the zipper a little lower for evening. Add some heels and a clutch and you are ready for a great evening. The look is sexy but still so flattering and comfortable.
The looks don’t stop with these too. Change up the shoes and accessories so many different ways for what you need for the day!
Is the Good American Denim Jumpsuit Worth It?
Just by including this denim jumpsuit in this Top Purchases post, you’ll know I love this jumpsuit. Any time a piece of clothing fits well and makes me feel good in it, I have to love it. This piece really fits like a glove but is still comfortable. The best combination you can ask for!
Beyond how I feel in it, is the versatility of the pieces. It can really be made to fit the style of whoever is wearing it. Different accessories, shoes and styling completely changes the whole look. Casual, dressy, Winter, Summer… it can be worn year round.
