Supergoop Glowscreen Review

We all know that we should be wearing sunscreen everyday. It isn’t just for the times that you will be outside the whole day. Even the best skincare routines (see mine here), botox and lasers can’t make up for the lack of daily sunscreen use. I’ve found a product that makes it easy to wear everyday and it is now part of my everyday routine. So today I’m sharing my Supergoop Glowscreen Review.

Supergoop is a sunscreen brand I love and use so many of their products. I’ve featured several of their products on the blog including this Glow Stick and Refreshing Mist (see here). I trust that they are safe and not only protect my skin but the products are good for my skin too. Supergoop formulates their products to be clean and to contain other beneficial ingredients, depending on the product. They have so many different products to cater to how you wear sunscreen.

What is Supergoop Glowscreen?

Is it makeup? Is it skincare? Supergoop Glowscreen is first and foremost a daily face sunscreen. It is a clean chemical sunscreen that you can feel confident will protect your skin with its spf 40. Glowscreen also has some quality skincare ingredients that provide hydration. With hyaluronic acid, vitamin b5 and niacinamide Glowscreen can be an especially great product if you have dry skin. But what really sets Glowscreen apart from other face sunscreens is the glow it gives. Without being glittery the product gives your face a soft pearlescent glow. It also primes your face for makeup!

How to Use Supergoop Glowscreen

Supergoop Glowscreen should be the last step of your skincare routine before you apply makeup. Apply a generous amount all over your face and neck. It doesn’t have a white cast and sinks in quickly. Once your skin has dried you can start your regular makeup routine. Your skin will have a glowy and pearlescent finish. Glowscreen won’t make you look shiny or greasy. Even under foundation your skin will have a subtle glow to it. Since it is also a primer, it helps your make up last though the day.

While it is meant to go under your foundation, I’ve found that I love wearing Supergoop Glowscreen without foundation as well. It is the best product for a no makeup look because you’ll still have a glow! The pearlescence kind of blurs your skin a bit and looks really natural. It doesn’t look like makeup at all.

My Honest Supergoop Glowscreen Review

I have used this product everyday for over three years so it is safe to say that I love Supergoop Glowscreen. It is so quick and easy to use so it doesn’t add much time at all to my daily routine. Glowscreen doesn’t feel like sunscreen, you’ll forget you have on spf 40 and it is so light you won’t feel it once it has sunk in. It doesn’t feel like an extra layer of makeup or product on your face. Glowscreen doesn’t feel as heavy as many other primers I have used in the past but still helps my makeup stay on. Honestly my favorite part is the glowy finish. It really is very subtle but I love how it makes my skin look.
