The Holidays are busy so who doesn’t love an easy recipe that is a crowd pleaser? I’ve been making Christmas Crack for years for years and now it’s a common request from friends and family. It is a top holiday dessert. The combo of salty & sweet is what gets everyone hooked! I almost feel bad when I’m asked to bring it because it is so easy!
At the beginning of the Holiday season, I stock up on the four basic ingredients for this recipe. That way I can make it throughout the month and don’t have to head to the grocery store. Any holiday dessert that can be made a few days ahead of time is a lifesaver. I’ll double the recipe, make it all at once and then have it ready for parties all week long.
Quick & Easy Holiday Dessert: Christmas Crack
With only four ingredients this can be made in less than 15 minutes. You just need to allow time for it to cool. I love making it the night before you need it and letting it cool in the fridge overnight. It is not required but sprinkles and colored sugar make it extra festive. This year I found these prism powders and dusted a light coating on the Christmas crack after it cooled. The glitter was a big hit at my girlfriend’s Christmas party.
