Wide leg pants are one of those classic items that are always in style but are having a really big moment right now. This 70’s trend has made it’s way back to the forefront of fashion. Wide legged pants can be worn for so many occasions. They work both casual and dressy. In today’s post I am sharing how to wear wide leg pants.

I really love when a major trend is flattering to everyone. Wide leg pants look great on every body type! They make your legs look extra long too. Since the pants get wider as they get to your feet, they’ll make your waist look smaller and complement any figure.

Wide Leg Pants Outfit #1: Night Out

Wide leg pants belong in everyone’s wardrobe. While they can feel like something to wear to work, they can easily be dressed up for a night out. I love them with a top with some fun details. These wide leg pants are a plisse material that is basically just tiny imperfect pleats. They give such a fun flow to the pants and look so good with this ruched bodysuit. Any outfit for a night out needs a special accessory and I love this sparkly purse!

Wide legged trousers, especially leather ones, may not seem like something to be worn during the day but with the right styling they definitely can! To contrast the harsh leather, style with cozy fabrics. Think cozy sweater and tops! Wide legged pants can be way more comfortable than jeans, so why not wear them for running errands? To dress them down, keep everything else casual but still pulled together. An oversized denim jacket is on the top of my shopping list (see all my Fall wardrobe updates in this post). It can still work with wide legged pants if you keep the top underneath it fitted. White tennis shoes will look good with almost any pair of wide legged trousers and make them instantly ready for day. This outfit would also work with a pair of wide leg jeans.
