One of the first things I look forward to wearing when the weather cools down are boots. Tall, short, heeled, platform there are so many fall boot trends this season. While I never think you need to buy a completely new wardrobe each season it is find to incorporate a couple new trends. In this post I am sharing the biggest fall boot trends.
Fall Boot Trends
Knee High Boots
While knee high boots have never gone out to style, they are a big trend right now. Look for ones with a bit of a heel and hit right below the knee. A neutral pair will last you for years and be something that you wear every Fall and Winter. If you are gong to invest in a pair of boots this year, I would recommend knee high ones.
Platform Boots
Platform boots are the newest fall boot trend on this list. Like I mentioned in this post, platform shoes are the biggest trend in shoes right now and this goes for boots as well. Platform boots add height without actually feeling like such a high heel. They’ll also instantly add style and interest to a new outfit will making it more fashion forward. This boot trend can be styled with almost anything but I really like them with trousers (see here).
Lace Up & Buckle Boots
Western Boots
With the rise of country core, it was only a matter of town for boots with western details to be a big trend. As someone that grew up with friends and family that wore cowboy boots on a regular basis, it is funny when they become a fashion statement. Whether the boots have a nod to western or full on cowboy boots, these boots can be incorporated into so many outfits. They naturally lend themselves to denim and more casual outfits but don’t be afriad to dress them up. I think a silky slip dress and cowboy boots could be a great look for a night out.
