Beach Vacation Outfits

I have officially booked my first big trip since 2019 and I am ecstatic! In two months I will be headed to Mexico with friends. I will share more details later but for now I’m excited to plan all the beachy outfits. I have never thought you need to buy a complete new wardrobe for a vacation but it is fun to find a couple new pieces for a trip. I’ve pulled together some great items that will are my version of the perfect beach vacation outfits.

Beach vacations make me think of bright colors, patterns and easy outfits. It is not the time for anything fussy or uncomfortable. A new, to me, brand that I can’t get enough of is Farm Rio. They are known for their bright, beautiful prints. I am about to pull the trigger on this colorful puff sleeve top. I can see myself wearing it with white jeans or denim cut offs. This print also comes in this stunning strappy dress! If you have a beach wedding or just want a dressier option, this blue and white tiered dress is stunning! I love the colorful tassels!

Dresses are the easiest thing to pack since it is an outfit all in one piece. And who doesn’t love a white dress for the summer? This spaghetti strap dress is the ultimate summer dress! It comes in 4 colors and is under $40. I have already purchased the red and white. Originally I just planned to wear this dress with cute sandals or tennis shoes on the weekends. Now that I have it I plan to also use it as a cover up for my Mexico trip. I’m also thankful for versatile items when it comes to packing.

Coverups are their own category when packing for a beach vacation. Many times they are some of the most worn items on a trip. This button up cover up comes in so many colors and is a bargain! It’s long enough to work as a dress but would also be cute with denim shorts. A printed tunic is always a great beach pick but I especially love them over solid swimsuits. Something I have been searching for is linen pants. On a beach trip they can work as a cover up or be dressy enough for dinner with a cute top.
