Mascara really finishes off any makeup look. It typically is one of the last steps but can make a big impact. Long, full dark lashes complete any beauty look. Whether it is a basic minimal makeup look or full glam mascara is a beauty must. What isn’t a good look is when mascara smears or flakes. You only want black on your lashes and not your under eyes or eyelids. Tubing mascara can help prevent any of those issues. In today’s post I am sharing my full review of Blinc tubing mascara.
Blinc Tubing Mascara Review
What is Tubing Mascara
You may be wondering the difference in tubing mascara vs. regular. A typical mascara is made of waxes and oils. When you apply it, the mascara coats and colors your lashes. Because of the ingredients, even waterproof mascaras can smear, transfer, flake and smudge. This can leave black under your eyes or on your eyelids. And the mascara can wear off quicker than you want it to.
Tubing mascara is different from the start because on of its main ingredients is a polymer. This ingredient makes all the difference. When tubing mascara is applied, it wraps around each individual lash and creates a tube. The “tube” around each lash holds on to itself and it doesn’t flake off. It stays on tight until you take it off. So there won’t be any black under your eyes or anywhere else.
Tubing mascara also don’t stick to your skin. In fact, as soon as it dries on your skin, it wipes off so easily!
Is Blinc Tubing Mascara Worth it?
Blinc tubing mascara applies just like any other mascara. I curl my lashes and then apply two coats to my lashes. I wiggle the wand at the base of my lashes to get a little thickness there. I let it dry a bit between coats. It gives my lashes a really defined look with a lot of length. It’s jet black too, which I love! If you like to use a mascara primer, you can still use it with this mascara! You just have to make sure you coat it over all of your lashes.
I have used this mascara for years and have really put it to the test. For everyday wear, it truly never comes off or smudges. No matter how long my day is, I never have any issues. With other mascaras my most common issue is getting black under my eyes. It isn’t that mascara flakes but its that the mascara migrates to my under eyes and leaves a wash of black under my eyes. I tried lots of mascara and nothing prevented it but Blinc tubing mascara.
Even when I’ve had my sweatiest workouts or been outside all day, this mascara really doesn’t smear. I’ve been in hot yoga or cycling classes and haven’t had any mascara come off. That is really when I realized how different this mascara is.
How to Wash off Blinc Tubing Mascara
The one concern and question that is most common is how to take Blinc tubing mascara off. And whether it will damage your lashes. It seems like a mascara that stays on as well as Blinc does would be difficult to take off or require a strong face wash but that isn’t actually the case.
All that is required to take off Blinc mascara is warm water and a little pressure. When washing your face splash some warm water on your eyes. Keep doing so and then apply a little pressure on your lashes until the tubes slide off your lashes. Don’t pull or tug on your lashes, if the tubes aren’t sliding off apply a little more warm water. You could also apply a warm wet washcloth to your lashes and hold it there for a few seconds. After taking it off a couple times, I had the hang of it and it’s super quick. It is especially easy to take off in the shower!
What is also nice is that because the mascara comes off in tubes, it also doesn’t smear as you take it off! So it is even mess free as you take it off!
