Favorite Things Gift Guide

One of my favorite thing during the Holiday season is the Favorite Things party my roommate and I host. It always feels like the start of the holiday season for me! I look forward to it so much and always have the best time. We host it on a Saturday morning and invite all of our girlfriends to come in their favorite pajamas or loungewear.

There are many ways to do a favorite things gift exchange but this is how we do it. Each person brings 3 gifts wrapped. They are one of their “favorite things” that they love. When everyone arrives at the party, they write their name down 3 times and put it in a gift bag. One at a time each person picks three names out of the bag and those are the people that get that person’s gift. We have everyone open the gift and then the one that brought it explains why she loves the item so much.

Fav Things Gift Guide

This year I wanted to share all of the great items that everyone brought. It was so fun to see everything that people brought and what everyone loves! It is as much fun to see what others get as it to see what you actually get when playing the game.

There was such a fun mixture of items that people brought. Lots of fun beauty items, some cups and other fun entertaining ideas. This simple modern cup is one of the items I took home and I am already so excited to use it all the time! I, of course, brought my favorite Elemis facial wash.
