Today’s post is all about my top purchases from the last few months. This list is heavy on the fashion items as I founds some great pieces that I really love. I also have one big splurge item that I bought after months of research and finding just the right one! It is always fun to think thru what I’ve bought and the items that I would buy again and ones I would not. Head here to see other Top Purchase lists.
Top Purchases Vol. 7
Reformation Crimini Dress
Slip dresses are a very popular style of dress and I love Reformation’s take on it. The Crimini Dress has the classic fitted shape of a slip dress with a high slit. It is an sexy dress without trying too hard. I have worn this dress even more than I expected because it is so comfortable. It’s also a great dress for year round and comes in other gorgeous prints.
Good American Ribbed Tank Dress
While this isn’t the most exciting clothing item, it is one that I love. This ribbed dress is so flattering and looks good on so many body types. It also is the ultimate versatile item. I packed on my recent trip to France and wore it several times. It is a comfortable travel dress when worn with tennis shoes (the ones mentioned below). I also wore it on our most dress night with heels and a blazer! It is something I’ll be wearing thru Fall and Winter.
Amazon Oversized Plisse Set
I will be living in this set all Fall. The comfort comes from the soft fabric and oversized cut. The plisse fabric makes it so interesting too. Depending on what color you get, you can either go with something neutral or make a statement with color. This set make an easy and quick outfit, ready for a night out to dinner or drinks.
Lele Sadoughi Holly Bow Headband
I blame my love of headbands on Gossip Girl. They can take a simple outfit and make it really interesting. This bow headband is quite a statement and comes in lots of fun colors. It is also really soft on your head. While it obviously lends itself to being cutesy, you can also pair it with jeans and other harder items to juxtapose the sweetness.
Saint Laurent Le 57 Quilted Leather Shoulder Bag
I bought this bag while in Paris last month and it was a splurge but something I had thought about for awhile. I have always loved Saint Laurent bags and have wanted one for awhile. Shoulder bags have been a really hot style for the last year and I see them being popular for awhile. Another 90’s trend that has stuck. This quilted bag has the softest leather and the bright perfect magenta color makes such a statement.
Nike Court Vision Low Sneaker
For my trip last month, I went on the search for the perfect white sneaker. They have become a closet staple and I needed my own pair. My non-negotiables were: low profile, mostly white, comfortable for lots of walking and could be worn with shorts, denim and dresses. After a few tries, this Nike sneaker was the winner. It was an MVP on my trip and I still wear them alot.
Amazon Fuzzy Slippers
While fuzzy slippers aren’t the most riveting purchase, I was surprised by the quality of these for the price. I bought them as a party gift for a girls spa night. They are super soft and comfortable. I love that they also have a plastic non-fuzzy bottom so you can wear them outside if you need to.
Abercrombie Double-Layered Seamless Tank
These are the ultimate tank tops. They make a great layering piece while also working well on their own. The fabric is stretchy and thick which adds some structure and smoothing. These tanks are a bit cropped cut so if you need something longer, these bodysuits are made of the same fabric.
Apple Air Pods Pro
I needed a new pair of air pods so upgraded to the Air Pods pro. I absolutely LVOE the noise cancelling aspect of them. They are especially handy when you travel. I was surprised by how much of the plane noise they cancelled out and allowed me to sleep!
Amazon Nippies
If you ever go braless, sometimes a nipple cover is needed. These go on seamless and can be reused. They stick and stay stuck even if you wear them with a swimsuit!
