Spring is also a big wardrobe refresh for me. I don’t have a ton of closet space so as soon as the warmer weather arrives, I store all of my heaviest Winter clothes and shoes and bring out my Spring and Summer clothes. While I do that I like to purge any items I don’t wear (see how I clean out my wardrobe here). This always gets me excited to find a few new items for the season. In today’s post, I’m sharing some Spring tops under $100.
Spring Tops Under $100
My last few posts have been focused on dressing for the season. In this post I shared the best ways to transition your wardrobe from Winter to Spring and in this post I shared some Spring Fashion tips. Below I have pulled together a bunch of Spring tops in the trends of the season.
It is probably because things literally start growing during the season, but Spring always brings to mind fresh and new. We also are getting more daylight and everyone seems ready to shed the Winter and get out more! One of the biggest trends this season is really bright, saturated colors and I think it comes from everyone ready to get away from Winter. Saturated colors, even in simple pieces, can make a big impact to your wardrobe. They can be the star of the show and pair with your favorite neutral items. Or you can pair a bright top with an equally bright bottom.
Spring style will always involve some type of florals (cue quote from Devil Wears Prada).
But this season’s take is really small floral print. From far away, some of them look almost like an abstract print. But the great thing about floral tops is that you won’t have to worry about them being out of style next year.
One last favorite trend for Spring is puff sleeves. What started as a trend a few years ago has now almost been around enough that it has become a classic look. What I love about puff sleeves is how they can make even the most basic tops special. Whether it is simple in style or just neutral colors, a puff sleeve suddenly makes a look wow!
