Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale Picks

The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is happening now until June 6th. This sale is typically later in the Summer and there are a lot of Fall items. I consider this sale hit or miss. Sometimes there are some great deals but many times, I can pass on most things. I have found some great items. My Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale picks are all items I would love even when they weren’t on sale but now are an even better deal.

I’ve gone thru the 100s of items on sale and found a few things that I am loving! Several of the items I already own and bought full price. I bought these platform sandals earlier this month and wear them all the time. I especially love them with dresses (like all of these) but they are cute with pants and shorts too! What I really love the most is that they can be both casual or dressy, depending on what you wear with them.

Splurge Worthy Pieces

Everyone needs a couple special blouses in their wardrobe. Something in a luxe fabric or has special details can make an outfit feel unique. I am in love with the color and silky fabric of this blouse. Anything with feminine details always grabs my attention. The bows on this white top are refined enough that the top doesn’t feel too juvenile. Both of these tops can be a bit of a splurge so this sale is a great time to snag them.

Several of the dresses above are from a couple of my favorite brands. I am always drooling over Ulla Johnson’s prints. This dress has been on my radar for awhile and now that it is 40%, it may be the time to hit purchase! I also love Free People but sometimes their dresses are a little more than what I want to spend for something so casual. This flowy maxi is currently in my cart. I think I want to style it with platform sandals and a belt.

Work Out Items

IVL Collective is a fairly new to me workout brand. I had wanted a few pieces but didn’t actually purchase anything until this gold foil leopard top and legging came out. Leopard and sparkly, how could I resist? After wearing the pieces for a few months, I can see that the brand is high quality and I definitely plan on buying more of their pieces. The leggings have a pretty high compression but are still comfortable. The bra can be worn as just a sports bra or a top. The wide band provides a lot of support so I can wear it even during high intensity workouts.
