Our last day in NYC was spent in and around Central Park. It warmed up a bit from the previous days so I pulled out my shorts (last seen here). A great way to transition into fall is to wear one of your favorite fall tops with shorts and flats. It’s a great mix of Summer and Fall and perfect on days that are a bit warmer. I also like to incorporate Fall colors, like mustard and crimson, in my transitional outfits. Because of their flattering shape, I love peplum tops. They pair well with jeans, shorts and even skirts. This mustard top is old but one I always look forward to pulling out!
On our walk around the park, we made our way to the Met. We had our Gossip Girl moment and ate some ice cream as we sat on the Met steps! We had a beautiful view of the Upper East Side as we enjoyed our ice cream. These crimson loafers were good for walking all day. They come in a variety of colors and are so fun for fall!
